Pretty Beach House is one of Australia’s most exclusive luxury lodges situated 90 minutes drive north of Sydney on the glorious NSW Bouddi Peninsula. The lodge is set high on the escarpment above Pretty Beach and gently nestled into the Bouddi National Park. Guests are welcomed as if in a private home where all dining, snacks, non-alcoholic beverages, a considered selection of fine alcoholic beverages and wi-fi are included as part of the hospitality.
It is the vision of operators Karina and Brian Barry to create a quintessentially Australian home away from home for local and international travellers alike. Their passion for tourism and love for the area with its strong indigenous culture, is what brings Pretty Beach House to life.

Food

The Main house is designed for relaxation and conviviality where all the senses and sensibilities are inspired from the iconic Australian artworks, to the elegant table settings and stunning views. Guests are invited to help themselves from the fully stocked bar and relax before dinner while taking in the stunning coastal views.
HEAD CHEF / DEAN JONES / Dean gained Michelin experience at London’s River Café, and he injects the same pride and passion he believes that gave River Cafe its unique popularity – the pride in every ingredient and the passion to cook it with the same sense of brio and devotion the Italians display.
Guests may choose to dine in the spectacular dining room, al fresco by the pool or maybe even on the boat.

Enjoy typical Australian surfing at Killcare Beach, or swim at the southern end of the beach where the iconic red and yellow flags are. The coastal bush trails of the Bouddi National Park criss-cross through the National Park and arrive at all of the idyllic beaches & bays.

The main house at Pretty Beach House is a collection of premium facilities including open plan kitchen, spectacular dining room, sandstone open fireplace, guest lounge/library, open bar, wine cellar, private day spa, outdoor infinity pool and poolside pizza oven for casual al-fresco dining.
Choose from one of their four pavilions, each with its own unique experience;
Treetops - Positioned above the main house, Treetops is in the penthouse position overlooking the main pool commanding mesmerising water views through the angophora treetops.
Bayview - an intimate split level pavilion boasting a spacious outdoor area is fully equipped with heated plunge pool.
Hideaway - boasting a spacious & highly sophisticated living space, Hideaway is an open plan romantic pavilion with it’s own wood burning fireplace.
The Retreat - the most palatial of the pavilions with breathtaking wilderness & water views. This superb retreat is spread over two levels offering a separate living space upstairs with wood burning fireplace.
Getting there
For the ultimate indulgence take a panoramic flight (seaplane or helicopter) to or from Pretty Beach House. See the famous Sydney Harbour in its entirety from the sky, the awe-inspiring Opera House, the iconic Harbour Bridge, the beautiful golden beaches including Palm Beach & Pittwater - the playground of the rich and famous.
The scenery is truly stunning and unforgettable as you gently glide over vast bushland of the Hawkesbury region and the Bouddi National Park, and then land at Hardy's Bay where the staff await your arrival at the Pretty Beach Wharf.
