Why we love it

Nestled in the famous Adelaide Hills wine region, surrounded by botanic gardens, boutique wineries and overlooking the stunning Piccadilly Valley, Mount Lofty House is only 15 minutes away from the CBD.

Whether you join us for a weekend of relaxation, a special celebration or a work conference, let the team look after and delight you throughout your stay.

Starting with their warm and attentive service, the casual and fine dining experiences and many activities to enjoy inside and out, you won't be bored. Unless you want to.

Food

In 2017 we revived Mount Lofty House's gastronomic gloriousness and brought back the feel of the lavish social gatherings that once reigned these walls, engaging 3 chef hat Jin Choi as executive chef of Hardy's Verandah Restaurant and international master barmen for the Arthur Waterhouse Lounge.

As soon as you walk in, you will feel it. Hardy’s Verandah Restaurant is filled with the refinement, elegance and opulence that Arthur Hardy’s guests would have enjoyed 165 years ago. With the executive chef Jin Choi’s simplistic yet technical and delicately composed dishes, you will experience a once in a lifetime culinary highlight.
